TNS Media Intelligence/CMR -- leading provider of marketing communication and advertising expenditure information to advertising agencies, advertisers, broadcasters and publishers. Publishes industry summaries and forecasts. Can also obtain company info.
WARC.com -- the largest single source of online intelligence for the marketing, advertising, media and research communities worldwide. The subscription-based service gathers together over 25,000 articles, case studies, research reports and summaries drawn from over 30 international sources covering all areas of marketing communications. Members can also access adspend statistics, demographic and economic data, plus consolidated global industry news, marketing communications best practice papers and expert editorials on current industry trends.

Radio Advertising Bureau -- useful site with general information about radio advertising and comparisons to other sites (with a radio slant, of course).
Television Bureau of Advertising -- not-for-profit trade association of America's broadcast television industry. Has some great data about television and other media advertising, including CPM comparisons.
BPA International -- a global provider of audited data to the marketing, media and information industries. It is in the Business of Performing Audits. BPA is an independent, not-for-profit, self-regulating organization governed by a tripartite Board of Directors. Must register to use site.
Audit Bureau of Circulations -- a not-for-profit organization established in 1914. ABC is the leading third party auditing organization in the U.S. and its publication audits are conducted in accordance with rules established by its Board of Directors. These rules govern not only how audits are conducted, but also how publishers report their circulation figures. Must be a member to get to most of the information.
AdAge -- the preeminent source of marketing, advertising and media news, information and analysis. Includes news and features.
Adweek -- newsweekly for the advertising business with six regional editions. Searchable archives. May have to subscribe for the good stuff.
Brandweek -- only weekly edited exclusively for America's top brand marketing executives. Part of Adweek. May have to subscribe for the good stuff.
Journal of Advertising Research -- academic oriented research articles. Searchable archives. Bi-monthly published by Advertising Research Foundation.
Technology Marketing -- specifically written and edited for the highest-ranking marketer at a given technology organization. Readers are directly responsible for corporate marketing and positioning. A monthly but with more frequent on-line updates. Limited archive of articles on-line. Part of Adweek.
Mediaweek -- weekly magazine about the content and flow of advertising dollars to all media. Part of Adweek. May have to subscribe for the good stuff.
Point of Purchase Magazine -- a strategic marketing publication, addressing POP advertising from the perspective of both brand marketers and retailers. Limited past articles on-line for free. Also has buyer's guide.
Sign Business Magazine -- oriented towards the sign making industry. Current issue and some past articles on-line.
The Advertiser -- the industry's only peer-to-peer magazine. It is written by, and for, advertisers and published six times a year. With a circulation of 25,000 advertisers, marketers, and communication executives, it reports on today's most controversial issues such as measuring brand equity, emerging technologies, and global marketing.
